Transparent Sydney pricing
Pet Cremation Cost Sydney:
Clear, Upfront Pricing
Losing a pet is hard enough without guessing what the cremation will cost. Private pet cremation with Everpaw starts from $549, and the few things that can change that figure are explained upfront, so you can focus on saying goodbye.
What Affects Pet Cremation Cost
For most families, the price comes down to two things: your pet's weight, and when pickup happens. Cats, birds, rabbits and guinea pigs sit within standard pricing, while dog pricing depends on size, which our guide to dog cremation costs by size explains in more detail.
Our Pet Cremation Prices in Sydney
Private cremation with Everpaw starts from $549. That price includes collection, cremation, keepsakes and the return of your pet's ashes, so the figure you're quoted isn't a base fee with the essentials added later.
Here's how the pricing breaks down.
If you're arranging a farewell for a dog, our dog cremation service in Sydney covers collection, larger breeds and the return of ashes in more detail.
What's Included in Our Price
Everpaw's price isn't only the cremation. Every service includes:
Some keepsakes depend on the type of pet. A framed ink paw print is included for dogs and cats, and for rabbits, birds and other small companions the digital sketch captures their little foot instead. You can see each one on our included keepsakes page.
Beyond this, the main extra to plan for is the $150 fee for pickups after 5pm, on weekends or on public holidays. Additional charges can also apply for urgent or non-standard requests, or if your pet's actual weight differs materially from the weight given at booking. Your quote sets out anything that could affect the final price.
Payment Options
Cost can be a real worry at an already difficult time, and paying the full amount at once isn't always realistic. You can pay by credit or debit card, or with Afterpay if you'd prefer to spread the cost over a few weeks.
Priced for Private Cremation
The prices above are all for private cremation. Your pet is cremated individually, and the ashes returned to you are theirs alone. If you're comparing providers, our guide to private and communal cremation explains why that difference matters when you look at price.
Why Families Choose Everpaw
Everpaw is a small, family-run Sydney business, and the way the service works reflects that.
- Clear pricing. You know the likely cost, and what could change it, before you commit to anything.
- A small, dedicated team. No call centres and no couriers, and your pet's ashes are hand-delivered back to you.
- Private cremation. Each service is quoted as private individual cremation, with a private cremation certificate included.
- Available when it happens. We're here 5am to 9pm, seven days a week, because loss doesn't keep business hours.
- Trusted locally. Rated 5.0 on Google and 100% Australian owned.
Choosing a cremation provider while you're grieving isn't something anyone wants to dwell on. At Everpaw Pet Aftercare, our aim is to make that decision a simple one.
Getting Your Quote Right the First Time
A few details make the quote quicker and more accurate. It helps to know your pet's approximate weight, since that's the main factor for dogs, along with the suburb and whether pickup will be from your home or your vet's clinic.
For cats, an estimate is plenty, because there's no weight surcharge, and our guide to cat cremation costs in Sydney explains why. For any pet, if the actual weight or pickup details turn out to be different once everything is confirmed, the final price may adjust to reflect it.
How to Get Started
Getting a clear price for your pet takes a few minutes.
- Get an instant quote. There's no form to fill in and no booking required, just a figure based on your pet's details.
- Call us on 0482 718 162 if you'd rather talk it through. We're here 5am to 9pm, seven days a week.
- Arrange pickup when you're ready. You choose how soon you'd like collection when you book, and your pet is collected from your home or vet clinic.
What to Expect After You Get a Quote
A quote doesn't commit you to anything. If you decide to go ahead, this is what usually follows:
- You choose a pickup time that suits you, and collection is arranged from your home or your vet's clinic.
- You receive a tracking link with available updates from pickup through to the return of your pet's ashes.
- Payment is taken when you book, by card or through Afterpay.
Deciding not to go ahead before you book costs nothing. If your circumstances change after booking, or once pickup has taken place, refund limits apply, as set out in our refunds and cancellation policy.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does pet cremation cost in Sydney?+
Private cremation with Everpaw starts from $549. That includes pickup from your home or vet anywhere in Sydney, private individual cremation, the included keepsakes and hand delivery of your pet's ashes. The exact figure depends on your pet's species and weight, and when pickup happens.
Are there any hidden fees?+
No. The $150 fee for pickups after 5pm, on weekends or on public holidays, and any charge for an urgent request, are shown in your quote before you book. The one change that can come later is a weight adjustment, if your pet's actual weight differs materially from the weight given.
Does cremation cost more for dogs than cats?+
It can. Standard pricing covers dogs up to 50kg, and a surcharge may apply above that. Cats aren't charged a weight surcharge, so cat cremation in Sydney is generally quoted at the starting price unless pickup timing or an add-on changes it.
Is there a lower-cost way to arrange pet cremation?+
Choosing a standard weekday pickup, rather than after 5pm, on a weekend or on a public holiday, avoids the $150 fee. Where your situation allows, a less urgent pickup window can also help. Your quote confirms any charges before you book.
Can I pay for pet cremation in instalments?+
Yes. Afterpay lets you split the cost into four payments over six weeks, and major credit and debit cards are accepted too. Our guide to pet cremation payment plans explains how it works.
Is an urn included in the price?+
Your pet's ashes are returned in a dignified container, and an urn is optional. If you'd like one, urns and other keepsakes are available through our memorial store, and there's no need to choose before pickup.
Does getting a quote commit me to booking?+
No. You're welcome to get a price and decide later, or not go ahead at all. Getting a quote costs nothing.
What happens if the final price differs from my quote?+
Your quote reflects the details confirmed at the time. If your pet's actual weight or the pickup details turn out to be different, such as a weekend collection, the price may adjust. Weight-based adjustments are explained in our booking terms and conditions.
Can I get a quote without giving personal details?+
Yes. The instant quote asks mainly about your pet, such as species and weight, so you can see a price before deciding whether to share anything further.
Are the prices on this page for private cremation?+
Yes. Everpaw's quoted prices cover private individual cremation arranged through an independent licensed provider, so your pet's ashes come back to you.
